The Town of Belle sponsors a variety of organized activities throughout the year. During school months, the gym and weight room are open evenings Monday through Thursday. The gym is also open Monday through Thursday during morning hours for those residents who wish to walk for exercise.

The first Saturday night of each month, October through April, adult bingo is sponsored at no charge in the Community Center. Prizes are awarded.

Every December the Town sponsors a Christmas Parade and Santa Party and a special Christmas Dinner for senior citizens.

Summer months the playground at Belle Elementary School is open which includes an afternoon street shower daily (excluding Tuesday) and swimming once a week at the East Bank pool.

Every child participating in the summer playground program must register and have proper forms signed by a parent or guardian.

In addition to these organized activities, the Town of Belle has a playground and fishing pier located at the west end of Riverview Drive.

The restored Old Stone House located at the east end of town is Belle’s oldest structure and was used as a stage coach stop on the Midland Trail in the earlier days.  It was then used for a boarding house before it’s restoration for a tourist attraction.  There are scheduled tours of the Old Stone House.  A more extensive history of the Town of Belle can be obtained by calling Town Hall at 304-949-3841.
